Milestone’s Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged has received its first official gameplay trailer, showcasing the different vehicles and environments that players will race through. Check it out below.

Players have 130 vehicles from across the Hot Wheels franchise, with two new classes – All Terrain Vehicles and Motorcycles – added into the mix. You can also look forward to vehicles in different classes feeling unique like the Rocket class focusing speed in straightways while Drifter handles corners much better.

In addition, two new abilities are available – Jumping and Lateral Dash, the latter providing some brute force to collide with other vehicles and potentially run them off the track. Among the new environments are Backyard, Mini Golf Course (with a Wild West motif), Museum, Gas Station and Arcade with more transitions between indoors and outdoors.

The sequel also has a new Skill System, which lets you add Skill Points to three trees to improve a vehicle’s boosting, handling, and more. In addition to the Livery Editor, there’s a new Sticker Editor for creating and sharing different patterns and shapes.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged launches on October 19th for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months and check out the PC requirements here.
