Final Fantasy 16 is finally here and it’s an exceptional experience, with the overall experience punctuated by some of the most exhilarating boss battles in gaming history. There’s a wide variety of enemies our hero Clive Rosfield goes up against, from swooping draconian creatures, otherworldly spectrals, and gargantuan Eikons.

#15. Tiamat

Not the most challenging of fights this one. Instead, Clive’s brief encounter with Tiamat is the perfect opportunity to road test all of Clive’s Eikonic abilities learned up to that point. With Tiamat fairly easy to dodge, and with a stagger which takes minimal effort to engage, Tiamat’s battle is more an opportunity to spam attacks and enjoy it, as much more difficult fayre will emerge later on.
