Ridge Racer Vita to run at 30 fps; Lacks in Content

Posted By | On 24th, Nov. 2011

We have some interesting news for you. Ridge Racer Vita is supposed to be a launch title, but it seems like Namco has skimped on the content a lot. Most Ridge Racer games run at 60 fps, and that has always been a defining thing for the series, but for the Vita it will run in 30 fps.

We don’t know whether they didn’t have any time to optimize it or not, as the project began in May 2011. Most fans in forums such as Neogaf and others have expressed disappointment due to this and it doesn’t look like Namco will change it to 60 fps in a short time.

The game also contains only 5 cars and 3 tracks, which is well… odd. The tracks are –  Harborline 765, Highland Cliffs and Southbay Docks. They are also planning some DLC for the game.

Tell us what you think in the comments section below.

Thanks, Andriasang.
