Of the many PS5 titles coming up in the future, S-Game’s Phantom Blade Zero is intriguing for its mix of Martial Arts action and steampunk aesthetics. The combat takes inspiration from Ninja Gaiden, but players can edit the order of skills to perform extensive combos.

Of course, you don’t have to take the developer’s word for it – a demo is coming next year. Announced during the game’s ChinaJoy 2023 presentation, S-Game revealed that the demo would be 30 minutes long. Its scope and scale remain to be seen, but hopefully, it also means that the game isn’t too far off.

Phantom Blade Zero is coming to PS5 and PC, with a release date to be announced. Its story takes about 30 to 40 hours to complete, and there’s also multiplayer (with no microtransactions). PS5 players can also choose between 4K/30 FPS and 2K/60 FPS on PS5. Though it’s only confirmed to Sony’s console for now, S-Game has confirmed it’s not exclusive.
