Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, FromSoftware’s newest title in the mech combat series, will have a showcase later today. In the meantime, PlayStation Presents had a special briefing with the developers on stage and revealed PvP, among other things. Check it out below at the 41-minute mark.

Two types of modes are available – 1v1 and 3v3. Players can engage in duels against solitary opponents or team up with others. It also seems they can battle in different environments, from the snowy ruins of a city to a large industrial complex. Matches have a timer, and there is a score to keep track of, but it’s unknown if there are any objective-focused PvP modes.

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon launches on August 25th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and PC. Check out our feature for more details on what to expect. You can also head here for PC requirements, which are pretty similar to Elden Ring. Stay tuned for more from the upcoming showcase.
