EA Sports UFC 5

Electronic Arts has announced that EA Sports UFC 5 will release on October 27th for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders are now available, with the Standard Edition costing $69.99 and the Deluxe Edition retailing for $99.99. Check out its gameplay reveal trailer below.

Developed on Frostbite, the sequel offers a new damage system. Fighters will receive cuts when struck, and damage will affect defense, stamina, etc. before a doctor intervenes. New Transition-Based Submissions allow for more fluid grappling, and there are Cinematic K.O. Replays for playing back those stylish finishes.

The Standard Edition includes the base game, five online XP Boosts for Career Mode, Muhammad Ali as a playable fighter, and two alter egos in addition to the 30th Anniversary Vanity Bundle. The Deluxe Edition features all this, plus the Bruce Lee Bundle, Origins Bundle, two additional alter egos, three days early access and Mike Tyson and Fedor Emelianenko as playable characters.

There will also be a three-day early access trial available on EA Play. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
