Atomic Heart

The first paid DLC for Mundfish’s Atomic Heart was pretty underwhelming (check out our review for more details), but one memorable part was the goose. It randomly appeared at points, knocked Agent P-3 down and ran away. The goose returns in DLC 2 and seems to have brought some friends along for the ride. Check out the latest teaser below, courtesy of IGN.

Aside from the herd of angry geese, there are other things to glean from the teaser. P-3 finds himself in Limbo, with a fairy tale-esque castle, candy cane lamps, and even a tank. A battle is seemingly taking place in freeze-frame, and the tail-end teases that the rules have changed.

Limbo appeared sporadically through the base game’s story, its eerie whimsical tone standing out compared to other environments. It’s the only location in the second paid DLC, but players can likely expect new weapons and abilities. As for the goose, perhaps it’s a figment of P-3’s imagination. Maybe it’s the final boss. Time will tell.

Atomic Heart is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details and a release date for DLC 2.
