The launch trailer for Croteam’s The Talos Principle 2 is now live, offering more details on the story. As part of a city of robots, 1K and his allies encounter a strange entity. A megastructure awaits its discovery, but something else seems keen on its awakening. Check out the trailer below.

As with the previous game, players explore a variety of lush environments, solving puzzles to progress. Along the way, they’ll muse about humanity and the quest for knowledge, though some secrets are seemingly better left buried. There are over 100 puzzles across 12 regions, but you can complete every single one or skip some and experience the story.

The Talos Principle 2 is out later today for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out 33 minutes of extensive gameplay here. A free demo is also available on Steam. Overall playtime is estimated to be 20 to 30 hours, though it’s unknown if this means solving all puzzles or experiencing the side content.
