Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Will Launch in 2024, as Per EA Employee’s LinkedIn

Previous reports have claimed that the long-in-development RPG is set to launch for PC and current-gen consoles in Summer of 2024.

Dragon Age Dreadwolf

It’s been over five years since BioWare officially announced that it was working on the next Dragon Age game, and in all the time since then, besides the most miniscule of teases and updates, we haven’t heard much about the sequel. Of course, leaks have claimed that 2024 might finally be the year that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf releases, and another recent development seems to be pointing to that as well.

As spotted by X user @bogorad222, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is mentioned on the LinkedIn profile of Kevin Scott, a senior cinematic artist at Electronic Arts, and according to said profile, the game is targeting a 2024 release. Since the tweet below was published, Scott seems to have updated his profile to remove mention of a release window for the RPG.

Officially, neither EA nor BioWare have said much about when Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will launch, though EA did previously say that it would be after the end of the current fiscal year (which runs up to March 31 next year). Earlier this year, it was also claimed in leaks that the game was targeting a Summer 2024 release “at the earliest”, and that it could conceivably get pushed back into the final months of the year.

In June, BioWare provided a development update on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, confirming that the team was continuing to “build, polish, and tune” the RPG, and that more details on it will be shared “soon”. Might we see a proper reveal trailer at The Game Awards next month? One can always hope, right?
