The Casting of Frank Stone

Behaviour Interactive announced earlier this year that it had partnered with Supermassive Games (Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology) for the development of a new single player narrative-driven horror title set in the Dead by Daylight universe, and as recently confirmed, the game was formally unveiled at The Game Awards.

The Casting of Frank Stone will take players to the town of Cedar Hills, which has a violent past that a group of young friends become embroiled in. Players will learn about the gruesome history of the titular Frank Stone himself, which has left “scars across families, generations, and the very fabric of reality itself”.

As you’d expect from any Supermassive-developed game, The Casting of Frank Stone will bring an increased focus on storytelling than you’d expect from Dead by Daylight, while also putting choice and consequence mechanics front and center. Check out its announcement trailer below.

The Casting of Frank Stone is set to launch sometime in 2024, though platforms haven’t yet been confirmed.
