If The Outlast Trials isn’t enough horror, The Game Awards will also see Supermassive Games’ Dead by Daylight title appearing. A new tweet is available, featuring the message from studio director Steve Goss and executive producer Traci Tufte from May, which promised more details later this year. It seems we’ll finally learn more on December 7th.

The title is a single-player narrative-focused adventure set in Dead by Daylight’s Omniverse, specifically outside The Entity’s realm. It features a new cast and embodies the “tension, agency and branching storytelling” of a Supermassive title with life-or-death choices. Perhaps we’ll see some gameplay and the official title at the show.

Along with this Dead by Daylight title, Supermassive Games is also working on Little Nightmares 3, which launches in 2024, and the next season of The Dark Pictures Anthology, with Directive 8020 touted as the premiere. There could be updates on those projects at The Game Awards, so stay tuned for more details.
