Bandai Namco’s free demo for Tekken 8 is now available on PlayStation 5 (with the Xbox Series X/S and PC versions coming December 21st). Requiring 28 GB of installation space on all platforms, it features Chapter 1 of the Story Mode, The Dark Awakens, and the first chapter of Arcade Quest, though some parts of the latter may differ from the game.
After completing Arcade Quest, you can partake in Super Ghost Battle, fighting against your AI ghost and potentially others. Playable characters include Jin, Kazuya, Paul and Nina, and there are three stages to battle in – Urban Square in the evening, Sanctum and Yakushima. “Partial” versions of Versus and Gallery will also be available, but unfortunately, there’s no online play. Save data also doesn’t carry over into the game.
