New details recently arrived on Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and its first 3-4 hours following a recent round of previews from various outlets (including our own), and to further drive up the hype surrounding the game’s imminent release, Ubisoft has published its own extensive preview as well, showcasing plenty of gameplay footage and revealing new details.

The video covers the same section that was detailed in aforementioned previews, and after showing the game’s prologue section, shifts its focus to Mount Qaf, which serves as the primary setting. The video goes on to talk about the game’s Metroidvania structure, some of the abilities protagonist Sargon will acquire throughout his adventure, the different biomes and environments you’ll explore, the enemies and bosses you’ll take on in combat, and more. Check out the full video below.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launches on January 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. A free demo will be available on all platforms on January 11.
