Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown PC Requirements Revealed, 30 GB Space Required

Ubisoft reveals low requirements for its upcoming Metroidvania side-scroller launching on January 18th for consoles and PC.

Following the new trailer showcased the world of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Ubisoft has revealed the side-scroller’s PC requirements. All configurations require Windows 10/11 64-bit, DirectX 11 and 30 GB of installation space for the title.

Otherwise, the requirements are pretty low. Running the game at 1080p/60 FPS and Normal quality requires an Intel Core i5-4460 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.1 GHz, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 (2GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (4GB VRAM), and 8 GB of RAM. To run it at 1440p/60 FPS and High quality necessitates a Core i7-6700 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz, a GeForce GTX 960 (4GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (4GB VRAM) and 8 GB RAM.

Even running the title at 4K/60 FPS and Ultra settings only requires a Core i7-6700 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz, a GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (8GB VRAM) and 8 GB RAM. It should be interesting to see how the performance shakes out at release.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launches January 18th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. A free demo goes live on January 11th. Check out some gameplay of the opening level here.
