Pocketpair’s Palworld has hogged headlines for its sales numbers and concurrent player counts on Steam for weeks. However, despite version differences on Xbox, the survival crafting title became the biggest third-party Game Pass launch in history within ten days of launch.

It’s also the most-played third-party day-one launch title for Xbox Cloud Gaming. There have been over seven million players on consoles and Windows PCs. On Xbox alone, it peaks at almost three million daily active players.

Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe told Xbox Wire, “The response from fans has been tremendous, and it’s incredible to see the millions of players around the world enjoying Palworld. This is just the beginning for us and Palworld, and the feedback we’re gathering while in Game Preview will allow us to continue to improve the experience for Pal Tamers across all platforms.”

While it’s seen some issues, like the lack of dedicated servers on consoles, Xbox reveals that it’s providing support. It’s also contributing “engineering resources” for GPU and memory optimization and “speeding up the process to make Palworld updates available for players.” Considering the certification process was cited as a reason for the delay between updates, this is good news for console players.

Palworld is in early access for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Check out our review here and Pocketpair’s plans for future content, which include PvP, raid bosses and more.
