Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition

Team Ninja is prepping for the launch of Rise of the Ronin, but its current titles continue to set new milestones. It’s announced on Twitter that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, an action RPG set during the Han Dynasty’s fall, has crossed five million players worldwide.

Launching in March 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (alongside Game Pass), the title features several new mechanics like Morale determining the difficulty of encounters. It also leans heavier into parrying mechanics, with players whittling down a target’s Spirit and executing brutal critical hits. Though it follows a linear mission structure like Nioh 1 and 2, Wo Long features more verticality courtesy of a jump button.

For more details, check out our review here. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has received several updates since its launch, including collaborations with Nioh 2 and Lies of P. The Complete Edition launched last month, packing the base and its Season Pass content (including three armor sets and story DLC packs). Head here for more details. As for the future, the developer said there are currently “no plans” for a sequel.
