Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 will see its heroes becoming free for all players in Season 10. Overwatch Coins will also be earnable from the Battle Pass instead of weekly challenges, and a new Mythic Shop allows players to unlock past and present skins at their leisure. But what about the new game mode, Clash?
While it doesn’t have a release window outside of “this year,” a limited-time trial is coming in Season 10. It will feature Hanaoka, a new map revamped from Hanamura. An additional map will be available when it permanently launches.
Meanwhile, keeping to the release schedule of alternating hero releases and new maps, Season 11 sees the debut of Push map Runasapi, set in Peru. Colosseo is also getting a rework (hopefully to fix the annoying contests on the bridges). Reworks for other existing maps are also in the pipeline, with the developer promising “significant updates” to Dorado, Havana, Numbani and Circuit Royale based on player feedback.
Overwatch 2 Season 10 debuts in April, and more details have yet to be revealed on balance changes and new hero, Venture. Stay tuned in the meantime.
