It Takes Two

More than three years on from its launch, It Takes Two has received a new update on PC that should make it a much smoother experience for those who prefer to do their gaming through Steam. Developer Hazelight Studios has announced that the game is now natively available on Steam, which means that to play it on the platform, you no longer need to log in through the EA App launcher.

Though players will still require an EA account for online play, you will now be able to play the game on Steam natively, which means you can now also play seamlessly with your Steam friends. The game’s Friend’s Pass – which allows you to invite another player who hasn’t purchased the game to play it with you – also has a new Steam version, while it also now supports Steam Family Sharing.

On top of that, Hazelight Studios confirms that It Takes Two is now also Steam Deck Verified, which means it’s fully optimized for Valve’s portable gaming device.

It Takes Two is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Hazelight’s next game could be announced later this year, as per recent teases by the studio. Read more on that through here.
