Gran Turismo 7 Update Adds New Cars, Events, Cafe Menus

The racing sim's newest update brings five new vehicles, four new World Circuits, a new Cafe menu, and a new Scapes feature.

Polyphony Digital has released another new update for Gran Turismo 7, and as is the case each time, it brings with it plenty of new content for players to dive into, including new cars, new events, and more. Check out the trailer below.

For starters, update 1.48 adds five new vehicles to Gran Turismo 7 in the form of the Honda Civic SiR・II (EG) ’93, the Honda NSX GT500 ’00, the Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31) ’87, Volvo 240 SE Estate ’93, and the Volvo V40 T5 R-Design ’13. Beyond that, the update also brings the following four new World Circuit events:

  • Europe Sunday Cup 400 – Kyoto Driving Park: Yamagiwa
  • Japanese FF Challenge 450 – Autopolis International Racing Course: Short Course
  • Japanese FR Challenge 450 – Autodrome Lago Maggiore: West
  • World Tour Car 800 – Circuit de Sainte-Croix: A

There’s also a new Scapes feature and a new Cafe menu titled “Extra Menu No. 39: Racers of the Japanese GT” that those at Collector Level 48 or higher can access. The update will go live later today, May 29, at 11 PM Pacific.

Gran Turismo 7 is available on PS5 and PS4.
