Tekken 8 is set to welcome significant new additions later this month, with Bandai Namco having announced that fan-favourite Polish Prime Minister Lidia Sobieska will be added to the game’s roster on July 25. And while she is, of course, set to be the biggest addition for players to look forward to, she won’t be the only one.
During a recent livestream, members of the fighter’s development team revealed that when Tekken 8’s next update, patch 1.06, goes live ahead of Lidia’s addition to the roster, the game will also add a Photo Mode, which was confirmed to be in the works earlier in the year. In fact, Bandai Namco is set to hold a photo mode competition between July 23 and October 31 that will offer fans the chance to have their submissions features in official events, streams, and more.
Tekken 8 is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Earlier this year, Bandai Namco revealed that it had sold over 2 million units in less than a month.
