Tekken 8 - 2024 Roadmap

During EVO Japan 2024, Bandai Namco released a new trailer showcasing upcoming updates for Tekken 8. A new balance patch will be available this Spring, but fans can expect several free post-launch updates. Check out the trailer below.

Seaside Resort will be added as a new stage this Summer, with a gorgeous beach for players to fight on, complete with different times of day (and even fireworks at night). Photo Mode also launches during the same period, allowing players to pause the action and capture images of their favorite fighters. Several effects, like raindrops on the camera, can be selected.

Online Practice and Ghost vs. Ghost are also in the works (though no release windows have been announced). Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.

Tekken 8 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review here. Despite a positive critical reception at launch and two million copies sold, the fighting game has seen some backlash due to its monetization practices. Head here for more details.
