After multiple delays, Nacon’s Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will launch next month for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5. Console players can participate in a beta this month, with Gold Edition pre-orders accessing the VIP Beta from August 13th, 8 AM UTC, to August 18th.

They also get access to the closed beta, which runs from August 27th, 8 AM UTC, to August 30th, which is available to those who pre-order the physical Collector Edition and Silver Streets/Silver Sharps Editions. However, it seems the previously announced open beta – which the above pre-orders initially promised early access to – isn’t happening.

On top of all this, Nacon confirmed that the betas will only have a work-in-progress Quality mode limited to 30 frames per second. It notes that the graphics and performance won’t represent the game’s final quality, but we’ll need to wait for more details.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown launches on September 12th. It won’t be playable offline – a persistent online connection is mandatory. Head here for more details.
