Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown 1

Along with new information on its upcoming betas for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, Nacon and KT Racing confirmed that the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions will launch with two graphical modes. Performance Mode allows 1080p/60 FPS, while Quality Mode runs at 1440p/30 FPS.

In the meantime, beta players can access a 30 FPS work-in-progress Quality Mode. The performance in these doesn’t reflect the final product, with the development team noting that it’s still working on graphics quality and optimization to ensure the “best possible experience” on consoles.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will be available worldwide on September 12th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Gold Edition Silver Streets Edition, Silver Sharps Edition, and Collector Edition owners can access a closed beta from August 27th to 30th. However, Gold Edition owners can also play the VIP Beta from August 13th to 18th.

As for the initially announced open beta, Nacon didn’t say if it’s still happening, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
