Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has already given players a taste of its post-launch plans, but of course, things haven’t quite gotten started yet. Season 01 is set to kick off ten days from now, and ahead of its release, Activision has offered a sneak peek at some of the new multiplayer maps that players can expect to see in the first-person shooter when its first post-launch season goes live.

Taking to Twitter, the company shared a clip that contains brief glimpses of three maps in the form of Hideout and Extraction, both of which are 6v6 maps, and Heirloom, which will be available in both 6v6 and 2v2 modes. Check out the clip below for a look at all three.

In our review of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, we awarded it a score of 7/10, saying, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a mostly enjoyable experience with a fun Campaign and Zombies maps, though multiplayer needs more work. It may not reinvent the wheel or rise to the series’ greatest heights, but after last year, it’s a massive improvement.” Read the full review through here.

As announced by Microsoft, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 enjoyed the series’ biggest launch to date, in addition to setting a record for new Game Pass subscribers brought in on the day of its release. The Call of Duty series’ total sales have surpassed 500 million units to date.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game is also set to receive PS5 Pro enhancements.
