After barely any marketing and dropping its features and requirements one day before launch, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available on PC. Peter Parker and Miles Morales are playable throughout the story, which also sees the introduction of the Symbiote and Venom. Check out the launch trailer below.

Developed by Nixxes and Insomniac Games, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features options similar to Sony’s other first-party ports. It supports Ultra-wide and Super Ultra-wide displays alongside upscalers like AMD FSR 3.1, Nvidia DLSS 3, and Intel XeSS. Ray-traced reflections, shadows, and ambient occlusion are also available, though you’ll need strong hardware for DLSS Ray Reconstruction. Check out the system requirements here.

Unfortunately, the PC version seems to be suffering from crashing issues, per Steam user reviews. Audio desynching, stuttering, lighting issues in cutscenes, and more have also been called out. As a result, its Steam rating is currently “Mixed”, with only 55 percent of the currently 1198 reviews giving the thumbs-up. Stay tuned for further updates from Insomniac and Nixxes on the same.
