Paradox Interactive’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has suffered another delay and will now launch in October. In a new video, World of Darkness executive VP Marco Behrmann revealed that significant strides have been made in development. Check it out below.
Players can look forward to more content, narrative depth and character development while protagonist Fabien’s role has “evolved.” Behrmann confirmed that the game is complete, but Paradox and developer The Chinese Room will take additional time to fix bugs, optimize performance, and more.
While it asks fans to stay tuned for the release date, the team will place its developer diaries on hold as it continues polishing and refinement. Those keen on asking questions can visit the game’s official Discord.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was first announced in 2019. Previously developed by Hardsuit Labs, it would face multiple delays and an eventual reboot with The Chinese Room at the helm. It’s coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
