Split Fiction stands out as one of the best games 2025 has delivered so far, which is high praise for a year that has had no shortage of excellent games as it approaches its halfway point. Unsurprisingly, the co-op title also continues to enjoy impressive commercial success to reflect its widespread critical acclaim.
Developer Hazelight Studios has announced that Split Fiction has now sold 4 million copies worldwide across all platforms since releasing a couple of months ago. That’s up from 2 million units sold in the game’s first week, which means it has maintained impressive momentum and doubled its sales in the time since then.
Meanwhile, Haelight Studios has already started working on its next project, while a movie based on Split Fiction is also reportedly in the works.
