Developer Raw Power Games has unveiled its new game, Chronicles Medieval, through a trailer during Summer Games Show 2025. The trailer showcased some impressive visuals in a pre-rendered cutscene that focused on the life of a singular soldier, before giving us a glimpse of what gameplay will look like. Check out the trailer below.

On its official website, Raw Power Games describes Chronicles Medieval as being a dynamic sandbox where the player will be free to create their own character. Rather than following a set story, players will instead live the life of their characters as they build themselves up from rags to riches.

Along the way, players will get to partake in quite a bit of combat, which can often culminate in large-scale battles like we see in the trailer. The large-scale battles will have players take an active role in recruiting, training and leading their troops. Chronicles Medieval will feature real-world historical units, including English Longbowmen and French cavalry.

Chronicles Medieval will be released as an Early Access game on PC (via Steam) in 2026.
