Planet of Lana 2 Children of the Leaf

Wishfully’s acclaimed side-scrolling cinematic platformer Planet of Lana is getting a sequel in 2026. Launching for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf follows Lana and Mui once more. Though the planet has been saved, plenty of dark secrets lurk beneath the surface. Check out the first trailer below.

The sequel expands on the first game’s puzzle-solving mechanics with new robots, which introduce additional solutions. Stealth is as important as ever, with the developer promising “refined” mechanics and “enhanced precision” with Mui. Of course, there are still plenty of action sequences, though Lana is far more agile.

Alongside wall jumps and running slides, she moves faster than before, which will come in handy during the new underwater sections. If that weren’t enough, composer Takeshi Furukawa also returns for the soundtrack.

Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf is also coming to Game Pass on day one. Stay tuned for more announcements and gameplay in the coming months, and check out our review for the original.
