Developer Perfect Garbage, along with publisher Blumhouse Games, have unveiled a new cozy life sim that seems to be hiding a dark secret. Dubbed Grave Seasons, the game was revealed with a trailer during PC Gaming Summer Showcase 2025, which you can check out below.

The developer behind Grave Seasons has described the title as a narrative farming sim that melds the kind of gameplay you would expect from a title like Stardew Valley with a darker, more horror-themed story. While players will need to build out their farm, grow crops, and build up relationships with the residents of the nearby town, they will also get to investigate some dark happenings around the town.

The story revolves around the player, having escaped from jail, taking up a new life in Ashenridge as a farmer. While the player starts establishing their new life, things quickly start going wrong, with strange murders happening in the town. Once the player is able to figure out more details about the murder, they will also have to take it upon themselves to protect the next victim.

Grave Seasons is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2026.
