Kingdom Hearts 3D Japanese release date announced

Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance- the 3DS iteration of the series- will release in Japan on March 29, and it will be available in three editions:

  • Standard edition – the game and AR card for the Dream Eater mini-games. Price: 6,090 yen.
  • Kingdom Hearts edition – includes the game and a custom designed 3DS (pictured). Price: TBD.
  • Kingdom Hearts 10th anniversary box – details will be revealed in the future. Price: TBD.

As detailed in the Kingdom Hearts edition, a custom Kingdom Hearts designed 3DS will also be sold (but only in that bundle).
