If you haven’t had enough Ninja Gaiden 4 to last until its launch this Fall, it will appear at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Host Geoff Keighley confirmed a “new look,” similar to Resident Evil Requiem, but further details remain to be discovered.
Launching on October 21st for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, Ninja Gaiden 4 focuses on Yakumo, a Raven Clan member who ventures to Tokyo to stop the resurrected Dark Dragon. Alongside demons, he must contend with the Divine Dragon Order and even series regular Ryu Hayabusa (who is occasionally playable). Yakumo battles with four different weapons and the new devastating Bloodraven Form.
Based on recent previews, Ninja Gaiden 4’s story lasts 15 to 20 hours, and there’s challenging side content, including optional “Purgatory” battles, to partake in. For newcomers, Hero Mode is available, which enables auto-guard and auto-dodge.
Stay tuned for potential new information at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19th, 11 AM PDT. The show runs for two hours and also includes reveals for Lords of the Fallen 2, Silent Hill f and much more.
