Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight: Silksong is less than 24 hours from release, and for those waiting over six years, it’s a cathartic moment. To make things even better, those who backed Hollow Knight on Kickstarter all those years ago and chose Nintendo Switch as their platform of choice can upgrade to the Switch 2 version for free.
Upon receiving their keys (which must be redeemed once Silksong is out), they can venture to the Nintendo eshop to download the Upgrade Pack for free. Steam players will receive keys through Humble Bundle, which includes the official soundtrack. They’ll also receive DRM-free versions of the title, which will be visible post-launch.
Hollow Knight: Silksong launches on September 4th for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox One alongside Game Pass. It goes live at 7 PM PST and retails for $19.99. Check out our feature for everything you should know before picking it up.
