Nivalis Nights

After years of development, multiple delays, and an increasing scale, ION LANDS has announced that Nivalis will launch on September 29th for PC. Renamed to Nivalis Nights, the life-sim has a new trailer highlighting some of the many things to do in the city. Check it out below.

The set-up is pretty straightforward. You inherit a noodle bar called Ramen Noir. From there, you can assign shifts and workers, slowly expanding the business. That may involve venturing out, making contacts, maybe even heading to the pier to fish for fresh ingredients. However, nothing is stopping you from taking in the sights and sounds in Nivalis. Or maybe just playing chess.

A serial killer, Aseptic, is also on the loose to some unknown end. How that will influence your journey remains to be seen, but for the most part, you’re encouraged to climb up the social ladder and truly make a name for yourself.

Regarding the release, creative director Marko Dieckmann said, “As an independent studio, developing this game meant overcoming hurdles we’ve never faced before, and we are incredibly grateful to our community for their patience over the last five years. Today, we are thrilled to finally lock in our official release date and cannot wait for players to dive in, meet Ava, and experience the city’s quirky charm.”

In terms of scope and scale, Nivalis Nights is pretty exciting and offers extensive freedom to customize your own business, build a hope, and encounter all kinds of interesting NPCs (including about 135 fully voiced characters). Stay tuned for more details and gameplay on it in the coming months.
