Halo: Campaign Evolved has largely been well-received as a remake that modernizes the original release while holding on to everything that made it a classic in the first place.
Well, the critical reception echoes that sentiment, and a new accolades trailer is out, showcasing a peek at its excellent visuals while showing what some critics have to say. Of course, it’s all good news, though we’ve had a few concerns after spending more time looking at how the game’s doing despite a very good initial review. It bears mentioning that while we did lament the lack of competitive PvP and a few framerate issues, we didn’t think there were any major problems.
Nevertheless, if you’re a Halo veteran or a newbie looking to get your feet wet and who’s been waiting to see if this one’s worth its asking price. The trailer’s below for you to see, and perhaps make up your mind if joining Master Chief against the Covenant and chasing down those Skulls is a good use of your time and effort.
