Monster Hunter Wilds continues to showcase Capcom at its best, and with over 11 million copies sold, it’s definitely among the franchise’s most successful titles.
If you’ve not managed to dive into this one yet, or were perhaps thinking about giving it a shot, you’re probably going to be happy about a new playable demo, arriving just in time to mark the debut of some new bundles for the game. They’re essentially renamed versions of what was on offer before (albeit at better prices). However, the demo in itself is quite interesting given that you can play up to Chapter 1-3, have full access to the character creator, and have your progress carry over if you decide to pick up the full game.
That’s definitely a solid pitch considering just how good this one is, and those first few hours are a good indicator of better things to come. Of course, now would be a great time to dive into the adventure, what with Ascendance on the way, slated for release in 2027. The demo’s available on Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. We still don’t have a date for that Switch 2 release, but the rumors continue to swirl.
