Battlefield 6’s free Top Gunupdate is on the horizon, and the latest trailer is an excellent showcase of everything exciting it’s bringing to the table. It also contains more than a few references to the legendary film series.
We already knew about Wake Island and the two new aircraft, but getting to see them in action is definitely a great way to build up the hype for an update that’s bringing a lot of new stuff to be happy about. Intense dogfights are awaiting you in Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep, while the game’s new and improved Carrier Strike will have you tearing through the skies as your opponents use every trick in the book to bring you down to their level. The Interdictor sniper rifle is a suitable Battle Pass reward to mark the occasion thanks to its unparalleled range, while other rewards from event challenges will be music to the ears of Top Gun fans.
Tsuru Reef is also getting aircraft carriers added, so there’s that to look forward to, even if you’re not keen on taking to the skies. All in all, we think this one’s going to be fun when it drops on August 18, so stay tuned for all the details when it goes live.
