Old Skull Games and Dotemu have given us a closer look at Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster, a 2D stealth action title that puts you in control of a vicious Skaven assassin and lets you loose in a world where it’s kill or be killed. That’s Skavendom for you, and it’s a place where might dictates your survival unless you’re able to use the shadows to your advantage and level the playing field.
Your superiors have given you your orders, and it’s up to you to achieve them through whatever means necessary. Fortunately, the great level design in this one means that an opportunity for some sneaking and stabbing is never too far away, even in the most dire situations. A fancy-looking skill tree, some great mechanics, an amazing art style that oozes personality, and a potential rollercoaster of a story are all reasons to be excited about this one.
It doesn’t have a release date yet, but it’s planned for 2027 on the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Of course, we’ll be sure to tell you more about it as soon as new information comes up if you’re as curious about this one as we are.
