You already know about how excited we are for Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2, given how its bringing titles that have been largely unplayable for a while unless you had the hardware to play them.
Well, that’s now a thing of the past and while we’ve been saying that Guns of the Patriots is the obvious draw of the new collection, we must point out that it comes without the original’s online mutiplayer modes. The story’s that it brings is more than enough to make up for that omission though, and it’s one that’s going to blow your socks off if you’re a newbie, provided you do a bit of homework first.
However, Peace Walker doesn’t leave out its online options aside from bringing a chapter from Naked Snake’s life that has remained quite memorable over the years. Ghost Babel’s a nice diversion, while the Database and Sountracks are a nice dose of nostalgia and a welcome presence for collectors.
