Turok: Origins has followed up that explosive story trailer from yesterday with a new showcase of the game where the devs dive into the game to show off its features.
It’s a long list, but we’re especially excited to get into the class system. They’re called Primal Forms this time around, and each one’s assiciated with Native American lore, keeping in line with the franchise’s past entries. The weapons are quite cool, blending known designs with futuristic hi-tech additions that make each one look and feel quite unique from what we’re seeing.
The dinosaurs you point them at are equally terrifying, and there’s a sense of danger as you make your way through jungles that look quite intimdating. There were some truly scary bosses to see too, which is always a welcome sight when you know youcan bring your buddies along to the fight. Of course, the devs were quick to point out that the little slice of the game we’re seeing is no indication of the horrors that await us once we dive into its final release. That’s still not reason enough for us to hesitate about diving in, though.
All in all, this one’s looking like quite the addition to the long-standing franchise.
