We’ve got yet another Curious Case to look at as Onimusha: Way of the Sword ramps up its promotional efforts ahead of its release later this week.
This time, the subject of our attention is Dokyo, a wily Genma who has managed to build a massive underground laboratory in secret, where she has apparently studied powerful forms of magic to unleash against anyone who challenges her. Of course, Musashi being who he is, that means you’re going to fight her. It’s a tough encounter as she darts and teleports across the map, unleashing spell after spell that you’re going to have to learn quickly if you want to survive the encounter.
She was one of the many highlights from our time spent reviewing the game, and a clear head is certainly as important as quick reflexes when you take her on, as her nimble moves and smug attitude are enough to get under anybody’s skin. You can check her out in action below as you wait for this one to drop on September 4 for PS5, PC, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
