Crimson Desert Patch Fixes DLSS Frame Generation Crashes on Start-up and More

Pearl Abyss continues its support, and this patch should help with any lingering PC issues ahead of Charting the Unknown.

Crimson Desert_05

Crimson Desert Enhanced has been quite impressive since it dropped, bringing that improved flow to the story that we’d been waiting for ever since it was first announced, and other improvements that once again brought so much to love in Pywel.

A new patch has dropped for the game’s PC and Mac versions with a bunch of improvements and fixes, chief among them being a fix for those frequent crashes that occurred with DLSS Frame Generation enabled when starting a new game. Other improvements are detailed in the patch notes, including the UI, controls, localizations, and a few other miscellaneous changes. It’s not a long list, or at least, not as long as usual, but it’s still good to know that Pearl Abyss isn’t showing any hints of slowing down support even as it’s busy lining up Charting the Unknown for its release.

It’s been a lovely year with this game, and that’s not something we usually say about single-player narrative-driven titles, considering we’re usually deep into another title once we roll the credits on it. Let’s hope that Pywel has many more fond memories in store for us as Crimson Desert heads into a new chapter later this year.
