Payday 2: Under The Hammer is celebrating its release with a new trailer showcasing the Palisandro Dimora, an auction house with a well-hidden secret amid its many seemingly unassuming display pieces. It looks like piecing together the location of another great treasure depends on you and your crew finding all the smaller ones that lead you there. Quite the challenge from the looks of it, but fortunately you’ve got some options.
That’s more than enough of a reason to plan a heist with the old gang, right? That’s exactly what unfolds in the release trailer, as the expansion adds a brand new heist that takes the story back to before the White House heist was even a germ of an idea in their heads.
There’s a new shotgun – the Exotic Karussell Revolving Shotgun – and some cool stuff to find in a map that blends the sophistication of an auction house with the security systems to guard its valuable prizes. Fortunately, you and your crew are definitely up to the challenge. We’re hoping this one’s as good as the base game, which remains an experience we often smile to ourselves about. If only Payday 3 could have achieved the same highs.
