The gameplay loop involves scavenging for useful supplies to scale the island’s highest mountain, letting you send out an SOS for rescue. Of course, that mountain’s pretty determined to keep you on the island, with a shifting landscape you need to navigate each day, relying on teamwork, coordination, and strategy in a very entertaining effort to beat Mother Nature at her own game.
Interesting tools and a myriad of ways to use them will make that task quite enjoyable. The Complete Edition includes all updates, including new biomes and items for free, along with goodies and a buddy code so you can bring a friend right off the bat.
