Path of Exile 2

Grinding Gear Games is laying all its cards on the table for Path of Exile 2, with a full reveal for its 1.0 release set for November 3rd.

A new release trailer accompanied the announcement, but it’s quite cryptic and is more about setting the scene for whatever is planned. Of course, the implication that your fate hangs in the balance, decided by the flip of a metaphorical coin, is loud and clear here. So is the warning about not trusting even your own shadow (or maybe it’s simply teasing the Shadow class). It’s perfect for a dark fantasy title like this, and we’re excited to see what changes and how when the reveal happens next week.

Of course, we’re also a little on the fence about changing too much in a title where even its early access release had us hooked and very impressed by the combat, world, and story. We enjoyed our time with this one, and we’re sure a lot of you share that sentiment ahead of Path of Exile 2’s free-to-play launch on December 11, 2026. The release trailer is below in case you want to let your imagination run with potential additions based on minuscule teases.
