Battlefield 6 has been a rather steady source of good news recently. We got that update on the next phase of Season 5 just yesterday, and a new Community Update is now available, delving the addition of a Server Browser to the game ahead of its previously planned rollout in Phase 3. Well, plans have changed, and for the better.

The new schedule now aims for a staggered rollout right after Phase 2 launches on November 10th, starting with the feature opening to a limited pool of players for stress testing and optimization before its global launch. It will be front and center on your launch screen to make it easier to access once it’s live. You can choose between official and player-hosted servers, filter them, and stay in persistent lobbies if you’re inclined. Of course, that’s only a teaser of everything the new feature brings.

All that’s left is to wait for the rollout to complete, which will be easier when there’s a new map to try and a new Heist to plan. It’s an exciting time to be a soldier on this battlefield, and the future certainly looks bright, especially after its rough post-launch patch. Stay tuned for more updates when the Server Browser goes live.
