Massive Entertainment’s newest paid expansion for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Echoes of Central Park, is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Touted as a larger experience than Battle for Brooklyn and the looter shooter’s biggest since Warlords of New York, it transports players back in time for a different narrative journey. Check out the launch trailer below.

Players will explore highly requested locations like Central Park and Upper West Side while delivering a much darker tale (which is saying something considering how grim things could get in the first game). Of course, you won’t be doing so alone, as one of three companions can accompany you. New skill variants and gear abound, along with a fresh end-game activity that requires scavenging gear to fight back against overwhelming odds.

Unfortunately, Echoes of Central Park isn’t going down too well with some Steam players. The Deluxe version is currently rated “Negative” based on 12 user reviews, with many complaining that their top-tier Prototype gear isn’t usable. Conveying the news shortly before launch also didn’t help matters.

Whether Massive will make changes or not remains to be seen, so stay tuned for updates. You can also check out our feature for everything included in the expansion.
