Call of Duty: Black Ops voted as greatest game ending

In a poll carried out by Guinness World Records 2012: Gamer’s Edition, gamers voted Activision’s super successful 2010 shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops, as the best game ending of all time, beating the likes of Final Fantasy VIII, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and God of War.

Other notable entries in the list were Red Dead Redemption, Metal Gear Solid 4 and fellow COD title, Modern Warfare 2.

Halo: Reach, Portal and Heavy Rain were also on the list. Others like Batman: Arkham City, Ico, Mass Effect 2, Shenmue, the first Metal Gear Solid title and a few others were in the poll, but didn’t make it into the top 10.
