Many possibilities for the future of Final Fantasy

Posted By | On 27th, Feb. 2010

Final Fantasy XII is just around the corner, and with Final Fantasy XIV along with Final Fantasy Versus being in development, Square Enix is already thinking about the next title in the franchise-FFX. what will the future of Final Fantasy look like?

During an interview with Yoshinori Kitase, the producer of FFXII, he mentioned that he is interested in the next installment to the series, and said:

“We’ve got a few ideas for Final Fantasy XV lined up, but there is no singular aim for where we want the series to go. Final Fantasy can go in all directions, each one is very different from the last. The one thing we set out to do is to make sure we tell a story that hasn’t been told before.”

The fantasy might not be final after all

The future looks good for Final Fantasy, though it might be too early to talk about this since FFXII didn’t even come out yet in in Europe and America, it’s still a nice thing to hear, Final Fantasy might never end!

Final Fantasy XII is set to be released this year, same for XIV, and Versus will be released in 2011.
