Year 2009 is more than half gone and there are about five months remaining before 2010 hit us! The Playstation 3 and the PSP have some really great exclusives coming out this year. There’s been a lot of speculation regarding the number of great games is lesser on the 360 as compared to other platforms. We try and proove why such speculation should be put to rest. Here are the top games in no particular order that Xbox 360 fans should not miss out.
The Beatles: Rock Band
Exclusive: NO
Ever since the Rock Band series hit the shelves back in 2006, the game has become the biggest rival to the Guitar Hero franchise. This year Roack Band returns with The Beatles featuring 45 songs from them. The game by developed by Harmonix and published by MTV studios should be brought by every Xbox fan who loves to play games with their families or their loved ones.
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City

Featuring both episodes The Lost and Damned and Ballads of Gay Tony along with the whole game from the 2008 mega hit, this game is one for anyone who love games. Any 360 fan who missed out GTA4 in 2008 should not afford to miss this.

The alliance of super heroes and super villains is back with a great roster of characters including Captain America, Daredevil, Deadpool, Gambit, Green Goblin and many more! The game will follow the Civil War story arc fight between heroes and villains which causes an explosion in Stamford, Connecticut in which 600 civilians are killed. Looks like a great reason to kill some super villains
Halo 3: ODST
Exclusive: YES
The franchise that has broken entertainment records and had single handedly carried off the original Xbox for about 5 years and was one of the major success stories of 2007, is back again with more of the same name but with more features and a new protagonist with the game set two weeks prior to the events of Halo 3 in the fictional city of New Mombasa. Hopefully this game wont feel like an expansion and will be brimmed in content as compared to Halo 3.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction

Sam Fisher is back and man he back with a bang. He looks fitter and much more younger and hes in a bad mood. In Conviction players will hopefully and finally find out the murderers of Sam’s daughter. Judging by the videos and the interviews this has to be one of the biggest exclusives of the later half of 2009! So if you want the best stealth action that you need to have a 360. Period.
Forza Motorsport 3
Exclusive: YES
The pinnacle of driving simulation games. The best racing game of 2009 and this I say with a lot of confidence eventhough the game is still to be released in October. Folks there is not going to be Gran Turismo this year on the Playstation platforms this year (Yeah we know in Japan it comes out), so if you want racing games at its best than man you need to owe Microsoft’s baby!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Exclusive: NO, DLC: YES
The original Modern Warfare sold over 13 million copies and its sequel will be best playable on Microsoft’s console. During E3 2009, Microsoft announced that a downloadable content pack consisting of two multiplayer maps will be made available first for the Xbox 360 version of the game through Xbox Live. So folks what do you think? 360 is the best platform for playing Modern Warfare 2 this fall.
Left 4 Dead 2
Exclusive: YES
Another console exclusive for the 360 and another winner that Microsoft has. The sequel is back again and Valve given its pedigree sure will deliver a AAA game like its predecessor. The game will feature 5 new maps and multiplayer cant get any bigger than what Left 4 Dead 2 will provide.
Shadow Complex

A game developed by Epic games and is said to be heavily influenced Super Metriod and Castlevenia is coming exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade. The game will be a side scrolling one similar to flash games found on many websites. The game releases August 19th, 2009.
